Challenge
Electrical safety messages often compete with numerous other public messages and require strategic placement to resonate effectively. NamPower needed a dynamic and highly visible platform that would engage diverse audiences, from pedestrians to motorists, ensuring that the safety message was clear, urgent, and memorable.

Our Solution
HEKAMIOUTDOOR deployed six mobile billboards in key high-traffic areas including Ongwediva, Ondangwa, Eenhana, Opuwo, the Swakopmund/Walvis Bay roadblock, and the Mururani checkpoint. These locations are vital community hubs with constant foot and vehicle traffic, offering prime exposure for the campaign. The mobile billboards featured impactful visuals and concise safety messaging, making it impossible for passers-by to overlook the importance of safe interactions with electrical infrastructure. The mobility of the billboards ensured continuous circulation through target zones, maximising exposure throughout the campaign period.

Results
1. Top-of-Mind Awareness: The campaign delivered consistent and unavoidable electrical safety messaging to thousands daily.
2. High-Impact Engagement: Strategic placement in busy areas ensured broad reach across multiple regions.
3. Community Safety Enhancement: The campaign contributed to increased public caution and safety-conscious behaviour around electricity installations.
4. Effective Medium: Demonstrated the power of mobile billboards as an unmissable, dynamic advertising tool for critical public safety campaigns.

Conclusion
NamPower’s PASOP Stay Safe Campaign underscores the vital role of mobile out-of-home media in promoting community safety. Through HEKAMIOUTDOOR’s mobile billboards, NamPower effectively placed electrical safety front and centre in the daily lives of Namibians, reinforcing a culture of caution and care around power infrastructure nationwide.
