Campaign Objective: Enhance visibility and extend the reach of the Sores l Gaib PV Power Station project in Rosh Pinah.
Primary Locations: Main Gate of the Farm – Hosting the project site, Central Business District (CBD), Rosh Pinah.
Duration: 12x Months
Media Format: Static Mobile Billboards (2 Units – Strategic Deployment)

Background & Challenge
NamPower, as Namibia’s national power utility, is spearheading renewable energy expansion with the Sores lGaib PV Power Station project in Rosh Pinah. The project represents a key milestone in delivering clean, sustainable electricity to the southern region.

However, given the project’s location on the outskirts of Rosh Pinah, public visibility and local awareness were limited. The challenge was to ensure that both the immediate host community and the town at large could see and engage with the project as a symbol of progress and energy transformation.

Our Strategic Solution
To overcome this, NamPower partnered with HEKAMIOUTDOOR to deploy two static mobile billboards (advertising trailers) in Rosh Pinah, ensuring maximum reach:
1. On-Site Visibility – Project Main Gate – One trailer strategically positioned at the entrance of the farm where the PV station is under development.
– Ensured workers, stakeholders, and visiting delegations were welcomed by a bold project presence.
2. Community-Level Visibility – Rosh Pinah CBD – The second trailer was placed in the heart of Rosh Pinah’s central business district.
– Reinforced local ownership by making the project visible to residents, businesses, and commuters in their daily environment.
3. Simple, Direct Messaging – Artwork showcased NamPower’s renewable energy commitment, linking the project to a broader national narrative of sustainability.

Results and Emerging Impacts
· Enhanced Project Awareness: Raised visibility of the Sores lGaib PV Power Station within both the project site and local community.
· Community Engagement: By placing a trailer in the CBD, the campaign built a sense of pride and inclusion among Rosh Pinah residents.
· Strategic Reach: The two-site approach bridged the gap between remote project location and urban town centre.
· Brand Reinforcement: Strengthened NamPower’s positioning as the national leader in renewable energy development.

By deploying two strategically placed static mobile billboards, NamPower ensured that its renewable energy commitment was both seen and understood — from the gates of the PV station to the streets of Rosh Pinah.
Through this partnership with HEKAMIOUTDOOR, NamPower successfully transformed a construction project into a visible symbol of progress for the local community.
